One More Week!
Wow, the last 50 days flew by, and we’re down to the final week of our Kickstarter campaign. Again, we can’t thank you enough for your support!
Our marketing department (ok, it’s just James and Wenny again) has been hard at work. We were listed as a “survival gadget that would impress MacGyver” and a “gadget that would make you look like Chuck Norris, Bear Grylls, and James Bond combined” on CNN Go .
We were also featured in Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet! Take a look. Our segment starts around 9:48.
Thanks for helping us spread the word about 6 Legged Tees. We’re excited about our first batch of shirts, and we know that with your new shirt, you will be ready for summer and all the bugs.
Kickstarter Update #3
Wow, thank you backers! We’re over $6500 now and have great news for you all.
1) Our blog can now be found at www.6leggedtees.com/blog. (Clearly, if you are here, you have figured this one out) Keep up to date on all our musings. Of course the ones pertinent to Kickstarter will be posted here, but you’ll get some additional information at our blog like Wenny’s favorite hiking trails and sneak peaks at James’ photography. Let us know what you would like to see us blog about.
2) We’ve decided to add another reward tier at $15. We were feeling bad about leaving out all the international folk so this reward is especially for them to get involved and still receive something beyond our eternal gratitude (sorry, still no shirts yet though). For $15, along with our eternal gratitude, thank you card, and sticker, you’ll receive 3 postcards made from some of the photos we’ve taken on our hikes and road trips (see an example below). For those of you who have pledged more than this already, you’ll also get at least 3 postcards! We’ll post designs soon so stay tuned.
3) We’ve gotten our minimums lowered to 100 for a NEW COLOR. So that means we’ve already reached the threshold for choosing a new color, and we’re almost ready to add a 3rd color. As promised, all our backers will get to vote on this color, and we’re scheming of ways to best get everyone’s input (Wenny wants to do a March Madness color bracket while James wants a Paintball competition of color). In the meantime, feel free to send suggestions our way.
Thanks again for all your support. Keep on spreading the word about 6 Legged Tees!

P.S. Here’s an example of one of Wenny’s pics from Bryce Canyon National Park

Gizmodo!
Sometime during Saturday, we suddenly had a huge spike in backers. We quickly realized that we’d been featured in Gizmodo, and we were ecstatic!
Here were our reactions…
James- “Holy cabooses!”
Wenny- “This is the the coolest thing that has ever happened to me! Oh wait, 2nd coolest, going into Pixar studios was the coolest. But this is pretty epic.”
Check out the post here!
Leap Day
Once every 4 years, we get an extra day in the year. I can dream up a lot of things that I want to do on that extra day. Right now, I really wish I was snowshoeing in Yellowstone or hiking around these mountains. What do you want to do on February 29th?

Featuring 6 Legged Tees
This week, we were featured in:
Angry Asian Man- Amazing site that pretty much sums up all the current asian news. He’s also NU alum so we’ve got some bonds. Check out his blog for anything asian happening! Right now, it’s my go-to site for Linsanity.
Gear Culture- Another cool website that picks out the latest and greatest gear. It just so happens that they think our shirts are cool too.
The Awesomer- This site features “awesome” things. They’re pretty awesome too.
Thank you to all these sites! You should definitely check each of them out.
